Another Fabulous Sky. No Contest.

At home in West Newbury, I hardly ever see a sunset because only one tiny hall window faces west. I could see lots of sunrises from my large living room windows but that would necessitate getting up early. Being on a ship at sea, I can see half the sky all the time from my balcony. The other half of the sky is on the other side of the ship. If it’s a spectacular evening, I can go up to the two-tier Explorer’s Lounge on Decks 7 and 8 and get a 180 over the bow of the ship. Deck 7’s Aquavit Bar gives a 180 over the aft. I’m more likely to do that than to get up for sunrise, on land or on sea.

The view above was as we left Brisbane yesterday evening, heading towards open water.#
