Okay, I was actually ‘off’ 6 months ago, but I’m off again with a photo re-cap of my 5 months at sea and on land around the world.

Initially I’d planned to create galleries of photos on assorted themes — Architecture, Street Scenes, People, Oddities, etc. But I surveyed a few folks and they all screamed, ‘Do it by country!’

So I’ve re-org’d the photos and put them into country-by-country order. You all know by now that I’m a lousy editor. Or maybe I’m just a lousy farmer: I can't separate the wheat from the chaff. I’ve tried — really I have — to pare the photos down to the best of the 10 or 15 thousand I took. Sometimes they’re what I think are the best photos. But sometimes they’re just photos that capture a place or an event, and they might not be the ‘best photo’ from a technical or aesthetic p.o.v. So be it.

We’ll start in Miami in December (above). Five months later, in May, we’ll arrive in England.
