Koh Samui: There be Elephants...

Thailand’s second largest island, after Phuket.

There be elephants... but I hadn’t signed up beforehand to ride one, as many of my friends had and did. The elephant is the national animal of Thailand, and considered sacred.

Not having reserved an elephant, I decided to stay on the ship.
