Another successful performance by the Viking Sun World Cruise Choir — a medley of Peter Allen songs from ‘The Boy from Oz.’ You may think you don’t know any of the music from Oz, but you do: ‘Don’t Cry Out Loud’ and ‘Best That You Can Do’ (which became the theme song to the movie ‘Arthur’). Our mezzo / cruise director Heather sang ‘I Honestly Love You.’ Plus great piano playing by our director and balladeer Gary, and a few lesser known songs by the now-renowned choir. It was fun. Next up, in March: Excerpts from ‘The King and I’! Wonder if they need ukulele accompaniment – surely Siam has a ukulele-like instrument? #
