How I keep from locking myself out of my room, or in my room.* If you recognize the Market Basket check-cashing card in the light switch there’s a reason. In fact there are two: 1) If I put my room keycard there, what’s to keep me from walking out the door without the keycard, like I did on Day 1? 2) If I do remove the keycard — or the Market Basket card — the electricity is totally off in the room, which means nothing that’s charging in the sockets will charge when you’re out of the room. *Also happened, on Day 2: Got into room then misplaced keycard. Tossed room for 45 minutes. Missed coveted yoga class slot. Could not find card. Got new card from guest services. Inaugurated new lanyard anti-stupid policy.
